After the Storm

Even though Hurricane Irene didn't hit our area, it still brought a lot of excitement! Nancy and I went to the Sebastian Inlet to catch the sunrise and surf the day after Irene passed and then again the next morning. The waves the first day were incredible and there were some crazy surfers enjoying the double overhead waves. The sky was dark and dreary. So we ventured out the next morning to catch a beautiful sunrise that started pink and went to orange. The silouettes of the surfers against the vibrant orange sun was an added bonus. As Nancy put it, it looked like a Hawaiian sunrise. The light was beautiful and reflected off of the water and sand which made for great photos! All I have to say is the early bird catches the worm!
